For sale a jewel, 1978 AMF Harley Davidson FXE-1200 Superglide Shovelhead that is constantly hard to find in such great original condition. Bike has been serviced well, runs and rides excellent, everything works, no surprises, no disappointment. This is a collector dream, no questions asked. If you are looking for one you should know best.
You will be hard pressed to find a better looking and running 1978 FXE Superglide nowdays. This bike looks to me very good considering its age and rides as good as it looks! Paint on the tank and fenders is new and almost perfect, still bike has original paint on the frame with the original, factory sticker. There is some patina on the frame and drive train that accumulated with years. This Shovelhead is not a trailer queen as pictures show but nice, presentable older Harley that will keep appreciate in value with time.
Brakes work well, it rides, shifts and stops as it should. I have ridden the bike and shifted all 4 gears, it is a pleasure!! This bike has the original wet primary that may seep few drops of oil over time but that is being consider normal with those old shovs. Sweet Harley FXE-1200 Shovelhead is all numbers matching and ready for you to ride in style!
